This set of easy piano pieces and accompanying story explores the wonderful world of the Loobies, a fictional bunch who lives on an island called Loobienox. Children have an opportunity to discover music in a fun and interesting way, just as our Loobie friends do in the story.
As a composer and a teacher, I feel that youngsters are stimulated by music that makes them feel an emotion or that can tell a story. This is what Loobienox is all about! A young performer will be able to play a short piece about a character or an event that they will also be able to read about and see.
Loobienox features pieces suitable for youngsters of various levels (not necessarily in order of difficulty). Contrasting tempos, dynamics and touches makes the pieces a useful tool in developing technique while the student has fun at the same time.
