Programme Notes

This piece was originally intended to be released on one of my band albums in 2014. It didn’t make the cut because it felt too ‘chamber’ rather than ‘pop’. The piece always stayed in my mind as a work that represents my fascination with the textural relationship between contrasting instruments. It’s like soup…all the different flavours come together to make one unique taste.
