Catch Frank on the radio alongside special guest Pranom Somwong, a representative of the international Human Rights Defenders NGO, Protection International.

They will be discussing their project, For Those Who Died Trying, which includes a string quartet composition by Frank and a photo essay by Luke. These two projects look to remember those who died defending human rights and protecting the environment in Thailand.

In the last 20 years, more that 59 Thai environmental activists and Human Rights Defenders have been murdered or have been abducted.

Thailand's Murdered and Abducted Activists and Human Rights Defenders

Mr Som Hompornma (right) and Mr Tongnuan Kamjen (left) were shot dead together on the edge of a road leading to the town of Suwan Khu Ha in Nong Bua Lam Phu Province on 22 April 1999. They were part of a group of villagers protesting the construction of a limestone quarry.
