UPDATE: The MúsicaOcupa 2020 Festival in June has been postponed. They hope to be able to present in October but COVID19 has put under threat the work of people who make this possible. InConcerto and its Festival MúsicaOcupa need your help to keep transforming the capital of Ecuador into a living music-hall that spreads classical music into places where it would never usually arrive, and shares it with people who normally do not have access to this art. They need our support so they can continue to occupy the city with music.
— Frank Horvat’s composition Pedal Music will be premiered in Quito at Parque Bicentenario on June 14. More details to follow.
We acknowledge the support of the Canada Council for the Arts, the City of Toronto through the Toronto Arts Council and the SOCAN Foundation:

On March 25, I […]
In my 45 years on this planet, I can’t think of anything that has impacted the entire world simultaneously like the COVID-19 Pandemic. As a student of history, I’m also having a hard time finding another comparable example. Not necessarily in the amount of victims…fortunately that is still a relatively low number. But just to […]

My collaboration with InConcerto and MusicaOcupa is getting closer. Since I first revealed details about this wonderful project last November, I am so grateful to have secured individual donations and more grants to fund this commission…from the SOCAN Foundation and the Canada Council for the Arts. These grants along with support from the Toronto Arts […]
