Canadian Music Centre Toronto Canada
Having performed throughout Canada and the US over the past several years, composer and pianist, Frank Horvat, presents his first solo piano concert in Toronto in over 5 years. This special concert is being performed in honour of World Mental Health Day.
Frank will share his compositions and the personal stories behind them. Many of these pieces are from his album, You Haven’t Been, which explores his struggles and successes in dealing with depression and anxiety.
“…recording the events of this long and difficult expedition in deeply personal and profoundly beautiful music.” – WholeNote Magazine
“The pieces are moving, deeply emotional, personal and at the same time universal as they evoke feelings like sadness, soul longing – that all of us share. I had to use my tissue more than once. Really powerful work.”
– E.K., You Haven’t Been album listener
Tickets will be available soon from the Canadian Music Centre’s website. Sign-up to Frank’s newsletter to be the first to hear when they go on sale as seating is limited.
