ORMTA stands for the Ontario Registered
Music Teachers' Association. This group organizes auditions
where students develop their performance skills and receive
helpful adjudication. Students who deliver a particularly
fine audition are invited to perform at a Scholarship recital.

singer and composer, Sora (Celtic & New Age music with imaginative

Arts presents "My Neighbour is an Artist" series. This
first soiree features the piano music of Frank Horvat and
the songs of Kim
Boyce. This house concert took place in the

Frank's composition, Filler' Up, is used as incidental
music in an online lecture by Jean Vanier to the Ontario Psychotherapy
and Counseling Program.

Frank was selected as the Feature Composer for the first annual
NYCO
Music Festival. Piano students had the choice of performing
one of Frank's piano compositions listed in the Festival Syllabus. |

Frank performs at the noon hour concert series presented by
Hamilton, Ontario's Central
Library. This concert takes place at Centenary United
Church at the corner of Main & McNab Sts. Frank
will perform his own piano compositions and improvisations.
Admission is free. |
