Frank Horvat in Concert, in London, Ontario
solo piano music you've never heard before
with special guest, flutist, Amy O'Neill and an art exhibit by artist, Cheryl O

"Horvat is no con man. He's actually a thoughtful composer and player, an accomplished classical musician who has made a kind of tricky musical leap that allows him to pursue a niche of his own..." (READ ARTICLE)                    - Tom Murray, Edmonton Journal

@ The Aeolian Hall
795 Dundas St., London, Ontario.

Thank you to all who attended!

Concert

An engaging, full-length piano recital featuring Frank's original compositions and improvisations. With an un- predictable meld of musical styles, these groove-oriented pieces without words tell deeply personal stories. Hear from the composer himself about what influences his works.

  SPECIAL GUEST - Amy O'Neill
Amy O'Neill Amy O'Neill started her musical studies playing organ, but has since done her best to overcome that inauspicious beginning.

Continuing on flute at the University of Western Ontario, Amy learned a fair bit about Classical music. It wasn't until she graduated, though, that she found her niche in traditional Irish and Scottish music. She continues to play as a member of a wide variety of ensembles, from principal flute in orchestras and the piccolo player in pit bands, to the trad bands eolas and Jig Shinny.

Amy teaches at the University of Western Ontario and also runs a private studio, where she teaches both Classical and Traditional flute to students ranging from young children to retired adults.
