Music & Beyond Concerts in Pictures

Last week I performed at the wonderful Music & Beyond Festival in Ottawa. The festival had a day to celebrate the environment and I opened it with a 10am concert putting the ‘Earth in the Light‘ and closed the day with a 10pm concert ‘Earth at Night‘ where I performed my always-fun-to-play-in-the-dark, 60-minute piano piece, Earth Hour. A fun festival with SO many great events happening in July.
There was even a native tree give-away from Ecology Ottawa.
During the morning concert I premiered my new solo piano piece, Heat Island.
We laughed.
We got serious.
They listened.
It got intense.
There was even a little plucking of strings.
Then night fell.
We all zoned out to a little Earth Hour in the dark.
