Goodbye Louisa

Programme Notes

I was with Louisa for eight years. During that time, she gave me the space to grow, but she also demanded a great deal from me to support her—something I worked at tirelessly. In return, I was vulnerable and relied on her for protection and comfort, which she couldn’t always provide. Feeling betrayed, emotionally drained, and drawn to the possibility of happiness elsewhere, I decided to leave. On the day I walked out for the last time, she didn’t say a word. Still, I remain grateful for the time we shared. Those years will always hold a place in my heart.
