Celebrate the release of More Rivers, the highly anticipated new album by acclaimed Canadian pianist Christina Petrowska Quilico, C.M., OOnt, FRSC. This solo piano cycle, written for her by Frank Horvat, will be available on Navona Records starting January 24.
Join Christina as she brings to life this evocative suite of seven solo piano pieces. Inspired by Ann Southam’s iconic water-themed work Rivers, Horvat’s More Rivers continues the journey, capturing the mystique and transformative power of water—at once gentle and fierce, life-sustaining yet profoundly humbling.
Held on what would have been Ann Southam’s birthday, this concert promises a meditative and moving experience, honouring Southam’s legacy while exploring new artistic depths.
