Longing

Programme Notes

I am always longing, though often I don’t even know what for. This feeling simmers beneath the surface, a constant presence I can’t shake. At times, I scream about it inside, but no one on the outside hears. I want to share these yearnings, these deep desires, with the world—but I don’t. I can’t. I worry: What will they think of me? What if my vulnerability makes me too exposed, too raw? So, I keep it all inside, trapped in the silence.
