Programme Notes
Composed during my time as a student at the University of Toronto, this chamber work explores a somewhat desolate tone that dominates much of its character. The goal was to bring together classmates playing seven different instruments—ones not typically combined in this specific configuration—and to discover the unique tonal colors that could emerge.
