Programme Notes

I was given this short film, created by Alexandra Bal, and asked to set it to music. It explores the darker and scary memories one could have of childhood – the title is blatantly a paradox. I used this electronic score to portray these sentiments by taking innocent, childlike sounds and aggressively manipulating and morphing them into something nightmarish.
