SPECIAL GUEST: Amy O’Neill
Amy O’Neill Amy O’Neill started her musical studies playing organ, but has since done her best to overcome that inauspicious beginning.

Continuing on flute at the University of Western Ontario, Amy learned a fair bit about Classical music. It wasn’t until she graduated, though, that she found her niche in traditional Irish and Scottish music. She continues to play as a member of a wide variety of ensembles, from principal flute in orchestras and the piccolo player in pit bands, to the trad bands eolas and Jig Shinny.

Amy teaches at the University of Western Ontario and also runs a private studio, where she teaches both Classical and Traditional flute to students ranging from young children to retired adults.

VISUAL ARTIST: Cheryl O
An Unlikely Pair – Canadian artist Cheryl O works in a variety of painting media as well as collage. Cheryl is known for her still lifes, large florals and vibrant landscapes. Her art is featured in galleries in Ontario and Quebec, and can be found in corporate and private collections around the globe. Cheryl teaches art to adults in London Ontario, and her recent works plus upcoming art courses can be seen on her website.

Cheryl will be donating 20% of any painting sales on the evening of October 25 to Mission Services of London. They care for the homeless and disadvantaged in the London area.
