Ultimate Composer Experience (a photo recap)

This week was the world premiere and recording of my composition, The Thailand HRDs, commissioned by Protection International. Based off of the photo essay by Luke Duggleby entitled, For Those Who Died Trying.

This collection of pics gives you a look at this amazing experience.

In between movements was a synopsis of Luke’s original photo caption letting the audience know more about the subject of the photo and the music they were about to hear. Notice the different coloured letters? Those were the only musical notes I used to compose that particular movement - implanting that person's musical DNA into the piece.
