Centrediscs is proud to present, What Goes Around, a minimalist chamber album by Canadian composer Frank Horvat. Re-defining what minimalism means in the 21st century, five of the works were composed to create a captivating energy by re-creating a highly layered looping effect, associated with electronic music, with only the use of a single acoustic instrument or family of instruments in each piece.
Percussionist Beverley Johnston, clarinetist Peter Stoll, and harpist Sharlene Wallace join Frank Horvat in performing the mesmerizing ā€˜soloā€™ pieces that comprise this new album. Each performer is a leading instrumentalist in their field, intent on interpreting great new contemporary works.
